Happy 4th of July!

OK, here goes, my very first post! I'm totally new at all this, and not at all sure what I'm doing, so please bear with me while I get this figured out! Since I love everything about the forth of July,(e.g. fireworks, cookouts, extra time with family and friends, and just the general patriotic feel about it) I though it would be fitting that my first post be about my family and our July 4th. Last night we had a neighborhood BBQ with fireworks afterward that Tim and his friends had bought. Tim really gets into fireworks and I think they outdid themselves this year, it took about an hour and a half to set them all off! Brianna and Tyler did really well, Brianna isn't nearly as scared of them as she was last year, though she is very sensitive to loud noises and always plugs her ears. This morning we went to a neighboring towns parade, there isn't really anything too great but the floats and care always throw out a lot of candy, so we went prepared! Brianna of course had fun scooping up all the candy off the ground and clamoring to get to it before the other kids did. We're planning on going to see yet more fireworks tonight, I think we'll have had our fill of fireworks after that!

It's really neat that you are doing a blog~ you will do a great job at it and we as grandparents will benefit greatly since we will get to see new pictures of the children. You have always been so quick to send us pitures through the mail or e-mail so I can't complain but the blogs are so interesting and I for one will enjoy reading what you post.
Love, Mom

Cute pictures! Sounds like you guys celebrated the 4th up right! Me & Mag tried not to mope because Joe is gone & made ourselves forget it was a holiday (aside from praying & thanking God for our independence!). I do miss WV fireworks though... those hillbillies can set off displays (yes, even Hinton!) like we've never seen elsewhere. We got so spoiled with them!
