My crazy new Job!

Am I crazy or what? Several weeks ago a friend asked me to watch her dogs while she was going to be away, and since I try to be a good friend, I readily agreed. Little did I know that I would be getting myself in WAY over my head. Soooo, for the past week I have been taking care of a Bull-Mastiff and her 12 puppies, yes you read right, thats 12!!! Since the mother doesn't have all the 'equipment' necessary to feed all 12 at the same time, the puppies have to be fed 6 at a time, it takes about 30 min. to get them all fed and crates changed. This process happens every three hours, arghhh! Not that I'm comparing children to dogs at all, but I feel like I have a little better understanding of what mother's of large families go through! Needless to say, I'm looking forward to Monday morning when the owner comes to pick up all her dogs!

BTW, does anybody know what those little screwdriver things are on the side of my blog, or how to get rid of them? Thanks!:)

First of all, I don't see any screwdrivers...I think you only see those when you're updating or working on your blog.

Second, you are one awesome friend to take this on! That is way beyond the second mile, that's for sure!
The picture was so cute - I loved it. My boys would LOVE to have one of those puppies. Maybe someday we'll get another dog...I'm not ready for a 4th child, I always say. I guess I compared puppies to kids, too....lol...

I can't imagine having to feed 12 "kids" every 3 hours! One is enough for me!!! Even though he takes a bottle, I still have to get up! BTW, today is Monday! Congrats~you made it though!!

Lori,
You don't know me but I am Tim's cousin. I have been blogging for a few months now and am having so much fun catching up with everyone. YOu are welcome to visit my blog www.onebighappybryanfamily.blogspot.com. The screwdrivers actually make it easier for you to change things or edit your blog. You are the only one that sees them and if you click on them you can edit that section without having to go to the post section.

I couldn't believe it when you told me you were doing this... totally something I would do and not you! But they were all "lucky dogs" to have such a devoted nanny!

Wow! That is a serious amount of puppies! How nice of you to take on this. I do well to take care of my little beta fish.
