Out for a Sunday Afternoon drive . . .

Tim has been working on the Model A for some time now and since it's been up and running they have been taking little drives through town. It's pretty cramped in the cab so I usually let the kids go with Tim, they love it!

I've seen a few of these "interviews" lately, so this morning before we started school, I took the time to ask Brianna some hard-hitting questions ~

*What is something Mommy always says to you?
B: Sit still at the table while you're doing your schoolwork!

*What makes Mommy sad?
B: When I break the eggs (Very true!)

*How old is your Mommy?
B: 25 (I wish!)

*How tall is your Mommy?
B: 14"

*What is her favorite thing to do?
B: Throwing the Frisbee outside (I think she was confused and told her favorite activity

*What is Mommy really good at?
B: Making cookies

*What does Mommy do for a job?
B: cook ( at least now I know I'm not the only one who thinks I spend all my time in the kitchen!)

*Where is your Mommy's favorite food?
B: Pizza Hut (again, I think she was choosing her favorite place!)

*What does Mommy do to make you laugh?
B: Tickle me

Sunday Snacks and Smiles

While the Cat is showering, the mice will play! Brianna is fascinated with eggs. Scrambled for breakfast, plastic Easter eggs, or, unfortunately, real farm-fresh eggs. She loves to incorporate them into her regular imaginative play. Thankfully, this sort of thing does not happen very often at our house. The kids had just seen me place the just-delivered eggs into the fridge and then head to the shower. Dropping the eggs was clearly not part of the plan as Brianna started apologizing as soon as it happened and Tyler was aghast at the 'mess', he wanted to start cleaning right away but I managed to convince he to wait until I could handle the situation. I suppose I should be glad that only 1 actually broke, that's quite amazing really! All in a SAHM's work day, I suppose!

Organizing, purging, sorting through closets. I'm getting ready for a yard sale that the town is holding in the Community bldg. Hoping to sell enough stuff so that I don't have to have another sale here at my house in the fall! Not much free time for blogging.

Attending Sunday School every Sunday morning is very near and dear to Brianna's heart. Here she is explaining the most recent lesson to me. Believe me when I say that the first time she told it, she was much more elaborate in her descriptions. There were a lot more "guys that were mad", and much more 'nose-scrunching' at the obvious poor fashion sense of "the little old lady". Of course, I didn't have my camera ready the first time, so here is the 2nd version, seemingly to be largely focused on fashion! Enjoy.
