for the awesome privilege of being a mother to these precious little people! Amidst all the playing, homeschooling, cleaning, cooking, and sometimes chaos in this little yellow house of ours, I thank God that He has entrusted their lives to my care. There is not a day that goes by that I don't, at some point in the day, stop & just watch the kids. I like to catch them when they're playing or otherwise occupied by themselves, they are growing up so fast that I want to remember all the stages!
This may or may not have anything to do with the fact that I've taken just over 900 photos in the last 3 weeks!
The last 2 years we have been able to visit my parents on Mother's Day, I really missed being able to be with my Mom today. Tim & I are both so thankful for the Godly examples that our Mother's have been throughout our lives, WE LOVE YOU BOTH!
Kisses for Mama from 2 awesome kids!
And Finally, for all the mothers out there -
You know you're a mom when . . . .
1. You have signed a check with a crayon.
2. You wipe other kid's noses.
3. You have caught spit-up in your hand. (Guilty!)
4. You consider the person who invented the sippy cup a genius. (Um, yeah!)
5. You consider it a major triumph if you shower by noon.
6. You find yourself humming the "Rubber Duckie" song in the shower. (Or in my case, "Thomas the Tank Engine"!)
7. You have dressed your child in whatever is on top of the clean laundry pile.
8. You have considered trading your whole life savings for just one good might of sleep.
9. You see your parents in a whole new light. (For sure!)
10. You consider parenting to be the best job in the world!
