More specifically a Mommy Moment.
I have a pretty tough stomach, something that has come in handy a time or two since I've began this journey of Motherhood. But, today . . . the toughness was tested. ( A side note, both of the kids have colds right now. Enough said.) I was sitting at the computer checking a few blogs before going to pick Brianna up from Preschool. Tyler started crying, I picked him up to sit in my lap. I hear this 'squishing' sound. Weird. I looked down at him and he is opening and closing his hand and 'squishing' a hand full of . . .how should I put this . . .nasal drainage! :( Looking at his face reveled more of the same. As I scooped him up and headed for the nearest bathroom, I'll have to admit, my stomach was doing little flip-flops as I cleaned him up. I had to swallow hard to get the job done but mission accomplished!
Another Mommy Moment (on the opposite end of the spectrum). I was outside doing some yard work the other day with the kids playing close by. Brianna suddenly looked up at me and said, "I like you Mommy, you're so beautiful!" Talk about good for the ego! :)
It's times like these that remind me of what an important job Motherhood really is. They need me, I need them, and that's all that really matters!

I can relate!! Even though I've not had THAT happen...lol
Ewww! I have four young ones. KWYM!!
I also love scrapbooking and cardmaking. Actually, anything along that line is right down my alley~! Do you have any scrapbook pics on your blog?
With 4 we have had our share of disgusting things including lots of blood. We have had our share of cute sayings also. The other day Kaylee told me I was her "best Mommy". Makes a Mommy feel good!
Loree 2000,
I do post my layouts occasionally, I believe the last post with pages was Feb.1. I'm way behind!
You made me laugh out loud! Thankfully my stomach can usually handle stuff from the nose! We are going through that right now with Megan...yuck!
Love your blog!
Jamie
I'm so glad Magnus is over his cold! (Finally!) I didn't know such a little person could produce such "interesting" stuff. Ack! Yuck!!
Gotta just LOVE those Mommy moments!! hahaha
Awww. . .how sweet! I think you are a beautiful Mommy, too! :-)
I had the other type of Mommy moment on Sunday evening. . .Seth has been suffering from terrible headaches and on the way home from church, he announced, "I'm gonna throw up!" Bless his heart; he did before I could hand him anything! I think it is amazing what happes to our stomachs because just hearing that sound from someone other than my kids just about makes me do the same.
