I have friends that plan out their weekly menu in advance, they say that it makes for easy shopping and avoided last-minute-rushes to figure out what to make for dinner. I'll have to admit that I've done this before but it doesn't usually last very long for me, I love being organized, but have a hard time staying on the wagon once I've hopped on board! I'm hoping since I'm posting it on my blog that this will keep me inspired! Here goes:

Monday: Garlic Lime Chicken with olives, green beans with bacon

Tuesday: Mexican Lasagna (using leftover Garlic Lime Chicken), garlic bread

Wednesday: Pork Chops with Stuffing, Pea Salad

Thursday: Chicken Caesar Salad, leftovers

Friday: Tacos or Pizza, (depending on our mood!)

Saturday: We usually eat out on Sat.

Sunday: Ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, corn casserole,
Sunday P.M. snack: Strawberry Shortcake

Hey, Lori, I'd love the recipe for Garlic Lime Chicken and Mexican Lasagna, if you have a chance!

I'm just like you. I have done this several times and then I fall off the wagon! I wish I could keep it up. Such a good idea!

Okay, now that I'm starving!!!!

That's such a great idea....I have done it before too, and it lasted maybe one week. One of these days, I tell myself...I will do it, for real!

I'm enjoying your blog.

Have a great day!

I love keeping a menu plan! I have done this for years, and I think it has saved us so much money and my time. I even get on these kicks where I brown a bunch of ground beef and cook a lot of chicken at the same time.
